Job Brief:

The HR Advisor will play a key role in supporting the HR function of the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advice and guidance to managers and employees on a range of HR issues. They will also be involved in managing employee relations issues, supporting the recruitment process, and implementing HR initiatives and projects. The HR Advisor will work closely with other members of the HR team and will interact with managers and employees across the company.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures, including employment law, performance management, and employee relations
  • Manage employee relations issues, including conducting investigations, managing grievances, and supporting disciplinary procedures
  • Support the recruitment process, including advertising roles, shortlisting candidates, and conducting interviews
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including conducting induction sessions and exit interviews
  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects, including performance management, employee engagement, and diversity and inclusion
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including GDPR and employment law
  • Provide support and guidance on performance management and development, including conducting appraisals and supporting career development plans

Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an HR Advisor role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Experience in managing employee relations issues
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software
  • CIPD qualification (desirable)
