This includes overseeing household staff, managing budgets and expenses, coordinating events and gatherings, and ensuring the household is clean and well-maintained. The House Manager will work closely with other departments and roles within the company to ensure the household is running smoothly and efficiently.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Manage household staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
  • Oversee maintenance and repairs of the property, including coordinating with contractors and vendors
  • Oversee the management of household expenditures, inclusive of monitoring and reporting
  • Plan and coordinate events and gatherings hosted at the property, including menu planning and guest accommodations
  • Ensure the household is stocked with necessary supplies and groceries, including managing inventory and ordering as needed
  • Manage household calendars and schedules, including coordinating appointments and travel arrangements
  • Ensure the household is clean and well-maintained at all times, including managing cleaning schedules and coordinating with cleaning staff

Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Knowledge of household management best practices and procedures
