Job Brief:

The Assistant Director will play a critical role in supporting the Director in managing the organization's operations and staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to achieve the organization's goals, managing budgets and financial reports, and collaborating with other departments to achieve common goals. The Assistant Director will also provide leadership and guidance to staff members.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director in formulating and implementing strategic plans aligned with the organization's mission and goals, and track the progress of these initiatives.
  • Supervise daily operations of different departments, ensuring smooth and efficient activities that align with the organization's standards.
  • Enforce adherence to legal guidelines, internal policies, and quality standards to maintain the organization's legality and business ethics.
  • Manage financial planning by forecasting budgets, overseeing expenditure, and analyzing financial reports to optimize the organization's financial performance.
  • Enable inter-departmental collaboration, coordinating with various department heads to foster unity and efficiency towards achieving the organization's objectives.
  • Provide strong leadership, fostering a productive and positive work environment by mentoring staff members and encouraging professional growth.
  • Establish and sustain relationships with external stakeholders, including partners, clients, and the community to represent the organization and its interests positively.
  • Proactively identify operational challenges, formulating solutions and strategies to address these issues effectively.
  • Conduct performance evaluations of staff members, providing constructive feedback, and recognizing employee achievements to enhance performance and job satisfaction.
  • Design and implement comprehensive training programs for staff members to boost their skills and competence, aligning with the organization's needs.
  • Assist the Director in making significant decisions regarding the organization's strategic planning, resource allocation, and policy-making.

Requirements and Skills:
