  • Greet patients and visitors and provide assistance as needed, including directing them to the appropriate medical professional or department
  • Maintain patient records and ensure they are up-to-date and accurate, including entering patient information into electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Process insurance claims and handle billing inquiries, including verifying insurance coverage and obtaining pre-authorizations as needed
  • Order and maintain office supplies and equipment, including medical supplies and equipment
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned, including filing, data entry, and scanning documents

Requirements and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance billing procedures preferred
