Job Brief:

  • Develop and implement injury prevention programs, including stretching and conditioning routines
  • Evaluate and treat injuries and illnesses related to sports and physical activity, including sprains, strains, and concussions
  • Collaborate with coaches and medical professionals to develop treatment plans for injured athletes
  • Educate athletes on proper techniques for injury prevention and rehabilitation, including exercises and stretches
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all athletes, including injury reports and treatment plans
  • Communicate with parents and guardians regarding the health and well-being of their children, including updates on injuries and treatment plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and trends in sports medicine, including attending conferences and workshops

Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field
  • Certification from the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (NATABOC)
  • State licensure as an Athletic Trainer
  • Strong knowledge of sports medicine and injury prevention techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
