- Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process and ensure accuracy and completeness. You will need to develop financial models for forecasting, analyze financial trends, and make projections that will guide the company's strategic decisions.
- Manage the accounting team and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. This includes guiding the team in their duties, maintaining high standards of work, providing training and development opportunities, and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management to support decision-making. Examine financial reports, identify trends, and interpret data to provide senior management with information that will aid in decision-making.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including investors and financial institutions to ensure positive relations, secure investment, manage risk, and comply with financial regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements. This includes staying up-to-date with changes in financial regulations to maintain the organization's legal and ethical standing.
