Problem statement of the client
The client found out that elderly people need to frequently visit clinics and hospitals to seek consultation. Multiple visits result in multiple prescriptions which are tough to maintain. The Client wanted to address this problem and make the patients’ lives easier.
Process
We used a three-step process to understand, evaluate, and resolve the problems faced by the client by developing an EHR or EMR integration system while maintaining seamless communication and utmost transparency.
Our team too a deep dive to evaluate the client’s challenges, business model, and future goals. We compiled a comprehensive list of issues plaguing other key health care providers, which guided us in formulating appropriate solutions.
Armed with a clear understanding of the client’s needs, our team created mock-ups dedicated to solvin the problems. Our objective was to secure the client’s approval on these preliminary designs and gather their feedback for further refinement.
Lastly, we used the HL7 protocol to implement the EHR and EMR. It ensured that the EHR and EMR systems were seamlessly integrated, enabling the client to access patient information quickly with a decreased likelihood of errors.
Technologies
Our team used React for the front end and Laravel for the back-end development of the EHR or EMR integration system. These technologies provided a user-friendly interface and ensured efficient communication between the systems.
Solution
Our skilled team devised an innovative solution for the problem faced by the client. We developed a system that allowed them to maintain the history of patients and automate the process of prescription renewal and sick note services.
